Zak Ferenczhalmy

Zak is a student surrealist artist based in Dallas Texas studying physical and digital sculpture.

My current fascination lies within surrealist exploration of the human form. I enjoy contorting the human figure in different ways to illustrate different emotional and metaphysical concepts.

Physical — I most often use ceramic stoneware to create sculptures of the human form. Most pieces are scaled to life size, taking anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months to complete.

Digital — Most digital sculpts are fast turn around commissions. They can take anywhere from 1 day to a month to complete. Alongside being well versed in Blender’s sculpting toolset, I use Substance Painter to texture models, and Unreal Engine to make material sets.
